About This Video

This film is about an unregulated construction and demolition landfill that was discovered in a lot behind Miller Farm, and Earlham College owned house. The film takes us through conversations with three students and one professor who slowly uncovered this debacle in Richmond, IN. The students ended up writing an article for the Earlham Active. Most of the information that is discussed came from several months of research for this article. The film addresses the problem that they discovered and shows how these four people made a change in their community by holding the college accountable for their actions. Submitted to the Preserve our Planet film festival (see http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/videos/player.html?channel=22826&category=23025 )
